Hospitaler And Barrage

Name: Hospitaler

Background:
Hospitaler was a cargo hauler who, after he became self-aware on a free Cybertron, had his Altmode modified to its current form. He worked as an Autobot medic, both before the Civil War and during it, skidding through battlefields dodging blaster fire.

He met Barrage during a battle; it wasn’t the first, or last, time he repaired a Decepticon. It was the only time a Decepticon hung around afterwards.

Hospitaler detests violence; but if pushed to commit it he gets self-righteous, believing his opponents deserve no quarter.
Of course Hospitaler is terrible at violence; which is where Barrage comes in.

Recently, two Autobot fugitives, Tankette and Falconet, made contact with Hospitaler and Barrage. They had recently escaped from the LZ-3 prison camp, and attacked a supply depot in sector-8. Now, they were looking for SixSpider. Hospitaler didn't help, assuming they wanted revenge against the Decepticon. Later, Barrage told Hospitaler that she always suspected SixSpider of being an double-agent for the Autobots.

Hospitaler worries that, in Optimus Prime's absence, the Autobots might try something foolish.

Name: Barrage

Background:
Barrage was on a battlefield, abandoned by her partner Bedlam, with an Energon Breach and a cracked Spark Chamber, while she looked at her legs lying a few meters away. Her vocalizer was also shot, so she couldn’t even complain about it.

Then this dorky looking Autobot showed up, shifted a repair station out of subspace, and patched her Breach. Then he transformed into a med-vehicle and tore out of there, swerving to avoid Decepticon blaster fire the entire time; and carried Barrage to safety.

Barrage, literally speechless, watched this Autobot fix not just her Spark Chamber, but everything. He left the vocalizer for last, and fair enough, it was the least vital thing wrong with her.
Once Barrage could talk she asked the Autobot "Why did you do that?". The Autobot answered "Because you needed it."

Since then Barrage sticks with Hospitaler all day, everyday.

If anybody ever kills Hospitaler they’ll realize they’ve made a terrible mistake, because now Hospitalier isn’t around to stop Barrage from torturing them to death.
